well..saving of the $500 or not...guess it depends lar.... but personally... i stress...personally.... i dun mind paying that list price...and get a local set..... i mean one can get from jpn..like what pet described...but it will be a jpnese set.....

yes. serial number noted down when depart from bank. if u deposit again, u might get ask where the note came from. they will record your answers. happen to me.

it's ok lar....just withdraw the money from bank....all in $1k denomination.... was feeling so insecure that day walking around until i went in and bought my gmt..heheh actually i asked for a one piece $10k...the bank dun have...hahahaa

since notti already got his close to 2 wks ago, and my Q next, i think should be before CNY leow ... hehehe.. anyway, i cant remember when he put list, but it's either in nov or early dec. he q4, me q5. *for more detail on AD, u all got to ask notti* ... hehehee

saving $500 or not, not an issue, cos i gv me word to buy leow. But, by CNY, still not in, thn i go jp and buy ( will be in jp after CNY ). but tentatively, i stick with the local AD, see they provide good service or not.. hahaa, never buy from local rolex AD for long time leow. If good, this time round, will stick to 1 AD.. like wht u said loh, 'establish relation'

nottinghill, pardon me if i offended you or your AD by saying this. however, i feel that there is nothing wrong in asking them u are queue number what? if there are at least 4-5 people ahead of you, then i think the wait can take up to 2-3 months. usually for such hot items, one outlet usually get 1 - 2 piece nia.

hi triton.... i got my gmt on the 19 of dec..they called me on the 18... but if i remembered correctly....i placed my queue number about 10 days before that......and i was 4th on the queue.... whether how soon the gmt arrived will depends on their turnover of other models as well.... so if they are able to sell their other models quickly...they can re-order from Rolex Swiss...hence they will be allocated gmt along with their order... .....

anyway no worry lar.... i'm just a walk in customer....
