i cant remember wht was said, but usually some arrival monthly... anyway, was jst joking abt buying in jp, me not in a hurry, jan, feb, mar, all can lah. as long as dont come tell me wait 6 mths or price increase can leow etc ...

saving $500 or not, not an issue, cos i gv me word to buy leow. But, by CNY, still not in, thn i go jp and buy ( will be in jp after CNY ). but tentatively, i stick with the local AD, see they provide good service or not.. hahaa, never buy from local rolex AD for long time leow. If good, this time round, will stick to 1 AD.. like wht u said loh, 'establish relation'

nottinghill, pardon me if i offended you or your AD by saying this. however, i feel that there is nothing wrong in asking them u are queue number what? if there are at least 4-5 people ahead of you, then i think the wait can take up to 2-3 months. usually for such hot items, one outlet usually get 1 - 2 piece nia.

so if u happen to go japan again, and if you see the watch, call back AD and ask them if your item has arrived, if yet to arrive, can tell them remove you from queue list and get in japan. this is because u looking @ 500 savings which i feel is quite a substantial amount for a hot rolex piece.

As for if 9555 consider a steal. Not really, cos was in Jp, list price at 714K yen or about S$9.5, after tax refund, should be ard $9.05K. Was on display, i pass cos i already put my name on the Q list with a sg AD. Bought a LV instead. Maybe sg AD still trying to hold price to get more $$

i cant confirm the 9555 price just yet, cos me still on Q ( my Q is after notti ). but notti already got it at tht price. so far, for notti it's a confirm transaction.

Today went down to AD saw the new GMT 2, caught my eyes immediately. Solid steel bracelets and nice bezel. Feels gd too, unlike the subs and Exp too light. The only setback is the $10300 price tag!

Any kind souls here can advice if anywhere here i can lay my hands on the master piece at $9555k, thats the price tat some bros here got ???
