Boy size pre owned watch, worth to buy?

My sis may buy a preowned watch from a second hand shop.

Model is a datejust.
Dial is blue with diamonds.
Strap is oyster dual tone

Price around 6k.
Shop says no box or cert but can go rolex n verify etc.
Age around 14years ago no pin hole

Price ok? We are noobs... Lol

Take extra care if it's modded. For 6K, i think can almost buy a new basic model?

Hi all i did like to thank u all for your replies n messages.... Reason why i asked it was becos 1year odd ago i went online to get a rolex watch for someone. Everything looks good butbrolex said the dial is a modified version... I was quite sad..... Later i saw on e web yeah they did put modified dial w diamonds....

Hi there finally found something we really like for 5k plus....
Two tone maroon dial w slighty bigger diamonds dial n gold bezel. Shop also wrote 100%per cent return if rolex dont verify....

The previous watch was about the same specs but it had smaller diamonds w the diamond modified dial. Both look good though but we opt for the slightly bigger diamonds dial.

Lastly not that easy to find mid size for females.(uniquecolors) on the preowned shops.

Sorry the color should be two tone maroon n its my wife who got it.

Was worried the shop do come online n not v nice to see his watch being discussed.
