• I'm Looking For Boy Size Datejust

hi there, i'm a noob when comes to rolex watches.
i only knows how to wear n admire the look. i know nuts about it.
well, i got a rolex boy king with full diamond around the dia. i dont wear
it to work becos it is too flashy n if i did, my manager will definitely put me
on the first-to-go list if there is a retrenchment exercise.

ok, i'm looking for another watch. i would like to get another rolex different
from what i have now. i'm looking for a silver one, without diamonds and below
$2.5k. i want something like Rolex Datejust 16233 but w/o the flashy
diamonds n silver color. (i dont know what other model has it)

any advise where n how much i can get from bros out there?

thx very much...

why do you want boy size in the first place? while it is cheaper to buy in the short term, should you ever need to sell it, you will take a hit on resale value.

you also need to consider a few things
a) bracelet (oyster, jubilee)
b) color (two tone or stainless steel)
c) dial

once you have this in mind can you go shopping for a piece that you will like
Currently wearing:
TT Datejust with diamond dial - sold!
Blue 6694
Seiko SD-lookalike
"My collection":
Blue 6694; TT DJ w diamond dial.

I like your sense of humour on the retrenchment part. I am sure that you don't mean what you say. I agree with Brudder Seiko-Citizen. Unless you have a wrist a size of a boy's, you should get the men's size 36-42mm depending on the model. A men's size watch looks much more impressive than a boy's size watch. As pointed out by this Brudder, you will take a serious hit should you trade in or sell these boy sized pieces in future. You will take at least a 50% hit, unless the price of Rolex watches appreciate so drastically that you manage to break even. But, for this to happen May need to wait long long.

if u have small wrist, maybe get an explorer I or II, it would retain value more compared to a boy size DJ.

if u intend to flip in future, can consider a preown one

however, the choice it yours. buy a watch that smiles to u.

It's Stainless Steel btw..

Ok...2.5k is alittle tough but not impossible I think. You have to bear in mind the condition, and chances are..no box and papers.

What you are looking for is probably a Rolex 68274

Anyway...a TT datejust is the same price as a SS datejust though..you sure you want the SS 1?

Well I think seiko has helped you narrow down your search alittle bit

went to peng gwee at peninsular. saw plenty of rolexes to choose for.
is the price there reasonable compare to other dealers?
any feedback from the bros?

thx,
