For a classic look, go for the black

I would think so too. Tried hulk on my wrist at least twice but can't stand out. Sad. Still returned to black or white dial.

Green dial looks exp while black looks normal.

For long lasting look, black is safer.

Yes you are correct. The ceramic bezel is different from the (older) steel bezel in the way they are fitted. It is definitely more difficult and in fact 'risky' to interchange the ceramic against the steel one if you are doing it by yourself, unless you are trained well. The cost of damage is also VASTLY different

Yes the 50th anniversary is green bezel with black dial, thus the green bezel becomes iconic since then. Anyway, I think better don't change the bezel as the ceramic bezel may break if not handled properly. In any case I love the green bezel with green-gold dial. A very nice perfect model. You will know what I mean when you see the real watch. The traditional 116610LN is quite "standard" though it's a classical model.

As theW green dial is more ex than the black one by 1 k, I will get the black dial 1st. If I want the 50th anniversary look a like later, I will purchase a green bezel to interchange as to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

This is what I faced when I purchased my sub 2 weeks ago. Tried both black and green sub, at the end, green won over by a mile..
