depends on your definition of 'worth'
if you do not mind wearing something that is worn by others before, price wise resale is definitely cheaper than new
if 'worth' to you means preference for brand new stuff unused by others, no matter how cheap is a resale, you will not find any 'worth' in it

New, approach a friend who is a regular buyer and he will be able to get the best deal from dealers. Go talk to your friends.

Used, monitor the market rate and pull the trigger when you see a good deal! This site is good, so are others. Then there are dealers. You can try Chuan Watch- can bargain a little.

Buy preowned like wearing other ppl old shoes or old clothes, not shiok.
But all depends on individual lah
fully agd wth u ...also less risky of being 'conned' ... another factor is one dont 'buy bad luck carry by previous owner(s)' so said feng shui exponents.

HJ watch is oso one of the many advertisers here, so it's perfectly fine 2 buy from them. Pricing is competitive given there are so many shops selling used watches. Mint refers to the condition of a watch & 100% mint = Brand new never worn before.

if you notice how low preown shops offer for your watches, and how high they mark up for sales, you will wonder if forums such as sgroc is a better place to deal
