i guess it depends on the type of watch la , if its like a Sub , i'd prefer as is condition , but Datejust must be polished shiny shiny no scratch ^_^

Agree with the bro above, for subs mostly I wont mind non polished, more "dress" watches i prefer to be shiny

if a watch is heavily polished, i would not. the reason is simple. why would a watch be heavily polished?
if it is lightly polished to rid of scuff marks, understandable.
then again, i only know of a forum member who takes out the watch before working on the keyboard. i ask why. to prevent scuff marks.

for vintage watch, lightly polished should be fine, but for non-vintage, over polish quite fishy.

I agree with some of you guys...I would prefer to have the original condition especially for vintage rolex. so if the condition is too bad, will not buy...
