    Hey guys, apart from Chubb and AIA, has anyone every bought all-risks watch insurance from other agencies?

    Me dun buy any for my watches..juz take gd care of them wld do la...unless ur watch is super ex or u hav tons of them...i won't really insure them

        buying watch insurance is good as it at least covers the monetary aspects. however, it can never cover sentimental value.

                    IMHO one year of rental at a chubb/cisco safe facility is way cheaper than insurance quoted by any of the usual insurance companies.

                    unless you have a collection equivalent to a european nobelman its probably cheaper to go the safe deposit box route.

                      promotion @ certis cisco safe deposit was like 6 months @ $1 if got referral just ended.

                      i agree that the insurance for home theft is higher compared to a safe deposit box. but have to remember the hassle of going to the safe deposit box if you want to take 1 particular watch to wear.

                      anyway to get watch insurance u need to get content insurance first.

                          For Pateks worth more than $1 mil, I will take up insurance. But for a $10K watch, forget it.

                            insurance is be nice for all watches, but up to your circumstances.

                              juz put at cisco lor...can always go there to get the watches if needed...safe and reliable....i dun put any valuables at home nowadys...too risky esp with the rise of thefts and robbery....all my swee swee babies are housed nicely in aircon comfort..hehehehe....
