Rolex Warranty Card - Please Advise

Just want to have a second opinion. Both AD and Name are being blacked out previously by the first owner. Is this cause for concern ? Any reasons why someone would want to black them out ? Really appreciate expert advise here before I pull the trigger.

go with your instincts, if u don't feel comfortable from the start, then look elsewhere, there are plenty of other deals out there

Why would anyone wants to blank out the AD name? Rather suspicious, is the watch built from cannibalized parts? I would look somewhere else.. it's a fact Rolex factories produces more than 2000 watches per day.. there should be alot of choices out there.

Whatever the reason it is for masking the AD name, the fact remains and it can't be undone.

Personally I am concerned whether RSC honors warranty (since it's a Jan 12 set). Secondly how it affects subsequent resale. If u already have doubts about this, think about your potential buyers question marks ??? if u decide to sell later.

i used an android app QR barcode scanner to decipher the barcode it reads AG507484... doesn't read like the usual alpha numeric serial number.

Nippon ? Hiroki what's the point you are trying to make ? Kindly enlighten as I'm quite lost here...actually that seller also realise too late as he bought it from someone else without checking the card.
