  • Rolex Book with all Day-Date references from 1956 untill today. Mondani Editore

Just purchased this super Day Date reference book after I found out from fellow President collector minimerc .

Bought Direct from mondani himself selling on ebay.

Very good attempt by mondani to put almost all day dates for past 50 years into this one book!

after convert to SGD is approx $342 but they throw in some complimentary reference book for other Rolex sports watches too.

Text in English, German and Italian

The first publication entirely dedicated to Rolex

    Day-Date, Day-Date II and Day-Date 40 (New

model presented in Baselworld 2015), with the

updated estimates of every single reference.

Known as “President’s Watch”, this Rolex has

characterized and influenced the history of

    horology with developments and innovations

during the years. The Day-Date is one of the

world’s most famous Rolex watches; classic,

    beautiful, functional, useful and elegant.

With high definition unreleased images, technical

details, dials variants, history and updated price of

every model, this book analyses every detail of all

Day-Date references from 1956 until today.

The Day-Date is the first wristwatch self-winding,

    waterproof and comprehensively indicates the

date and the day of the week.

With the new book “Rolex Day-Date”,

the authors examine calibers, dials, cases,

bracelets and many more components of every

    model.

This book shows all dials with their variants of

color (Stella dial) and material (lapis lazuli, root

    wood, meteorite, etc).

With the “Rolex Day-Date” book, Rolex collectors,

dealers and aficionados have a safe guide to

know everything about Day-Date and Day-Date II.

Attached ar the updated prices of models in

production and the estimates of second hand

    watches.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Do you know what I noticed, there are few independent or individuals doing this kinda thing, collecting information, probably for personal reference in the beginning.

Wondering why watch brands do not provide/sell their collection/references since first roll out of the model.
    The Lannisters send their regards.

My view is the watch brands keep their references and share only in the training of their technicians and staff and even that on a "need to know basis"

so collectors like mondani take it up to themselves to share their knowledge.
