              • Really keen to see before & after pics!

But for me, I realised that despite my bracelet not as straight as your other bracelet, mine actually fits my wrist now perfectly. If I were to tighten it for straightness, it would be too tight on my wrist! So, i'll just leave it.....

Mind asking how do you tighten it for straightness?

                  Tks.

Borrowing smartyjones18's pic for illustration..... I like the straightness of his bracelet. Only tight bracelet can be horizontally straight. Loose ones will dip at the clasp end.

As for how to tighten..... smartyjones18 sent his other loose bracelet to Michael Young to do it. I'm also waiting to see the result.

Ok got it. Searched for MY and saw the results.
Shall wait for smartyjones to post pictures of this restored DD bracelet.

                      • Just wondering, I've tried one pre-owned DD with "tightened" bracelet, and somehow it doesn't feel so comfortable on the wrist. Not just because of tightness, but somehow the movement of each link around the pin is restricted. But it could be just that one piece.

Second, will RSC still accept a piece with tightened bracelet for servicing?

That is one of the possible outcomes of a tightened bracelet.
Yes i do believe that RSC will still service the movement.

                          • Those posted were never tightened before, only the 1803 which I sent to MY, yet to see the tightness, standby additional links just in case.

For some reasons, There aren't many 1973 rolexes around... That was also the period where rolex stopped stamping their case back.
