  • The 6611 looks like new now! Swee! But for vintage collectors..... Dun they prefer it in original weathered look?

But then again.... I watch Kings of Restoration..... They restore old things to what they look like when they were new decades ago.... Also Swee mah..... So I guess it's up to individual taste..... Hokkien will say " LIM PEH song!" hahahhahaa!
    I'm in bad company........

Bro, this is a 2nd 6611, recently serviced and polished until bling bling. but under a loupe, you still can see tiny spotting marks on this 55 years old lade. The 1st one is still in a naturally patinised condition, looking like Sharon Stone. LOL!!

Anyway, think I will sell the new one, it is a little too new for my liking for a watch on plexi...

I like both! Slight preference to the unpolished one!

                    • thanks, quite an interesting enamel dial. 1556 mvt is keeping good time despite it being 45 years old. Still getting used to 36mm watches after being used to >40mm. Think i am getting old and longing for some bling.

Still new to the game of day dates, but i must say its good value compared to the modern day DD II
