Hi, i am looking to buy my first daydate II. I tried one at the AD in Wisma. It was the Daydate II Everose gold president. What a watch and weight is superb. Thing is, is it better to get it from the AD or from private dealers? At the AD it cost 48k plus. Price is fair but i heard from some friends that it is better to buy at private dealers or overseas. My other option is to get it from KL where i have an associate working at Rolex. She can give me a good price if i paid with cash. :-) So right now, i am in a dilemma..where to buy it from! Oh well, u guys have a good day!

I have been watching the posts and wanted to try the leather band on my Day Dates.

The all gold bark bracelet can be a bit too much the Vegas Uncle look, so I wanted it to look a less bling.

Not sure it works with diamonds, might be better with other dial?

I do like the different look though, less showy

Paiseh, i didnt keep track but i am quite sure the standard 118238 is about $38k rrp now.

Anybody know what is the "current list price in SGD" for a DD1 118238 or 118208 with a simple champagne / stick dial (w/o diamonds).

Typically how much does a local AD discount it by? (5, 10, 15%) ? Just a ball park figure.

And which AD / show room (location) has a good selection of DD1s ?

thanks, to be honest i did not know simi si "Oxblood" or "Stella" when i bought it, its just looked so different from the other 1803 in the market then hence i bought it.

Stellina dials really stand out when paired with matching strap.

Yours is a fine example of that.
