Hmm... I get the feeling the previous model I posted above is out of reach budget wise.

This one looks (less diamond) more achievable - any idea what is the cost?

Model: 179173 (steel & yellow gold)

This 1 is a Mother of pearl dial,should be 11k after discount.

Any idea what kind of pricing we are looking at for this model (179313)?

This should be between 9-11k...but I think is should be closer to the 10k range.

Hmm... if they only offer 15% and not 20%, just walk out and go to the next shop and try my luck.. it is not a must buy situation for us anyway...

Try to bargain for 22% if u pay cash.

That is hard to say...as it depends on the sales person You have to go down yourself to see.

Cash can get better discount....be like me la...carry cash that's the way to go! At most just carry 10 pcs of 1k notes or u can request for a 10k note from the bank if they hav.

Depend on your style of your mom. But a full gold jubilee datejust with MOP and ruby dial would look fab but over your budget.

Just visited the rolex site - looks like there are quite a number without the date. She has no idea what she wants except that she does not want the date.
