All thanks to the colour of Cameron's submariner. The bright green somehow does not match with the elegant blue to black. I kept looking at the DEEPSEA as if there is something wrong with the dial. The D blue dial is immaculate but the "lemon" nope. Just my opinion.

I am really liking the dial.

But since I already have the original black, not sure if its practical to own two similar Dssd with an exception of diff dial (where for the amount of $$$$$ I can get other models or brands for diversification)....

And the black will be forever classic but with the endless black dial in Rolex divers section, this new dial surely will have a cult following but will the dual color survive the test of time?

Btw RSC will not do a dial change if requested to even though it is from the exact same model, 116660 (for now maybe as its relatively a new launched model) , unlike the Datejust where certain exact model which have couple of dial variant, owners can chose to change to another dial within the same model offering. Oh well.

The engraving on the Ring Lock isn't obvious like in the pictures where its zoomed-in to the watch head and dial making the writings looks like a billboard...

But when it's on the wrist, its kind like disappeared (it is to me and most Dssd owners that owned one) unless you really purposely look for it...

The one that's REALLY obvious is not the writing...but the SIZE!
