Can any expert please share with me from which year or series does the Sub come without the pinhole?

    Thanks a million!

The 'disappearance' of the lug holes started with the late Y series in some watch models.... late 2003?
....but the last 3 series, Z, D & F confirmed no lug holes....

      Thanks for the info!

Anyone else know when the lug holes are gone from the Y series? I am sure it is after May 03 as my Exp II still has the pin-holes.

there are 4 lug holes on the watch case. the pins which is used to attached the bracelet to the lug holes. newer models cannot see the lug holes on the outer part of watch case. older ones can.

removing the bracelet from the new subs can take quite a bit of effort as compared to the older ones with pin holes. a colleague of mine asked me to help him resize his explorer II but I did not accede to his request. Just didn't have the guts to do it cos no pinholes and no proper tools in the office. didn't want to risk scratching his precious. so in the end, both of us went to THG.

just get a tool and remove the bracelet urself, you will need plenty of practice, the first time i got my sub i spent 2 hours , removing and outting it back, now i can change to NATO strap and back to oyster bracelet in 5 mins.

Caveat: Do not scratch the lugs..try taping it first.

Why suffer? Bro, I think the Sub w/o pinhole sells better than those with pinholes because those w/o holes are newer than those with holes
