How many Daytona owners here?

i am hardly fascinated by the daytona. first of all, i will hardly use the chrono. secondly, it has no date. thirdly, too many polished surfaces, lastly, dial looks a bit small for my wrist. if rolex can come out with a larger dial daytona with date, maybe i will consider. otherwise, simplicity rules.
