      dial is different also...... minute hand is wider also.......

          I think rolex not stupid also. They probably made the size of the green bezel insert slightly different from the black such that it wont fit.

            i read somewhere in another rolex forum where someone managed to change the green to black. so i guess the size is the same.

              BTW, how to replace the insert ourself? Use screw driver can or not? I saw alot of aftermarket spare parts in ebay. Can custom fit woh.

                I think it's possible to change between the bezels,but the problem is getting the green/black bezel. BUT,the maxi dial....cannot be changed

                I am not sure leh,screwdriver I scared will scratch the bezel. And those aftermarket stuff on eBay are not very gd quality,the colour is weird...so will make your Rolex look fake

                    Agree with triton. Not advisable to DIY though I've heard of friends who manage to do so with a small knife. Better to pay a little than to risk damaging the watch

                            One raced to conquer the altitude while the other sinked to the deeper depths.



                            But amongst the explorer series, Explorer 1 tend to be 'sidelined' to Explorer II, although latter is more lao jiao and offers great heritage.
