Evening guys,
Newbie here, planning to buy my first Rolex, a GMT Master II, 116710LN. This has all along been my plan till I saw the older model with red & blue bezel , think the model is 16710 if I m not wrong. Have some qns to seek the advice of seniors here -
1. How long has the older model 16710 been on the market?
2. Is it possible to get it brand new?
3. If not, any advice on how much a pre-loved model would cost? Jus need an estimate will do.
4. And any reason why one is better than the other?
Thanks in advance.

difference in the series
G should be early 2010, alpha numeric late 2010 to now

i have a feeling your S ends with 7 alpha-numeric behind whereas your friend's G ends with 6numbers behind
