then try to reproduce the sound when u r at rsc. perhaps they could assist in rectifying the problem. we can discuss yr problem until kingdom come but there won't be any progress until it's brought to a watchshop to have it checked. if you bought it from a watchshop then obviously go back to the shop. if it's a private collector, check with the seller lor.

mine also got that sound,and my watch is running fast...but i dun really bother.hehehe

I tried for you and I can only hear the ticking of the second hand.. which is the same sound I hear even when I dun shake it..

Do you mean like a whirling sound (I get that with my Tag) ?

is it under warranty? if yes, go to rsc. otherwise, other watch shops also can. check it to hv peace of mind. i'm sure it's nothing.

Sound i think is ok la...if not tooooo loud haha...as long as ur timing is accurate it should not be a big problem

Thanks Triton. Btw, I will be making a trip to KL probably in June. Will try to see if BNIB GMT II 17610 can be found there. Update SGROC of my findings.
