i personally feel tt 114060 looks more balanced and 'clean' as compared to 116610... but if the date function is critical... no fuss, jus get the 116610...

I think the rate of discount for the said two models varies from ADs to ADs. About a year or so ago, I have seen some ADs giving up to 10% for the Submariner 114060M, and 5% for the 116610.

If daily watch, get the date. But for me, I would still prefer no date even if its my daily watch. More clean look without the Cyclops.

Is the Sub the only sports Rolex with no date or with a date option? The Daytona only comes without date, while the others, GMT Master, DSSD, etc come with date only.

The ROLEX Submariner 116610 (date) retails at $11,112.
The ROLEX Submariner 114060M (ND) retails at $9,750.
The "HULK" does not have a "ND" version at the moment.

used to think I needed the date, but i'm one of those that cannot stand the cyclops, so i bought the Sub. 114060.
until now, no regrets, love it, clean looking face, simple 3 hander...

ND is my preference.. Actually I'm Ok with dates but not the cyclop. I feel that the iconic cyclop on a rolex is a little old fashion. Sorry bros..
