    nd for me too. helps a lot and save time if u have a few watch to rotate. if the watch stop just set the hr and min and u r ready to go. save the hassle of settling the date.

    I like the sub because of the rotating bezel - useful for timing swims, walks, etc, without straining the eyes. As to whether date or nd, my first choice was the date;
    over time, I begin to see the beauty of the submariner nd, it's clear clean face and acquired one. Love it!

    I prefer the sub with date as well for convenience at knowing the date (rather than looking at my phone). The other factor is the cyclops.

    However, if given the choice, I'd get both!
