I forgot to mention my 16622 was a M series, does that mean that the watch was manufactured in 2007(old stock) ? The AD claims not cos i queried him why it wasnt a V series for 2008/9.
    Anyone can help clarify.... TIA.

I jus got my 16622 today at KHH peoples pk. after 20.3% off retail of $12929 at $10300.

I was contemplating between SS GMTII(after little discount at $9350) and 16622, in the end settled for 16622 cos i prefer its subtle looks.

And many thks to this forum for providing me valuable info before i make my purchase

    will post pics soon

I've always see the YM as a discreet watch, which looks great but not like your normal Rolex, which is has a bit more bling / colour. This for me is the attraction of the YM and I suspect that the usual Rolex wearer would prefer people know that they have a rollie on their wrist. Maybe that's the reason why not so many people post on this thread. Anyway, just my thoughts.

    Hi OceanKlassik,

Thanks for the reply. I guess it doesnt really matter since they are never used and I think my wife will have the watch for many years to come.

Box, links, I think can be replaced but at a hefty price. Papers, I don't think so.

Hey, I'm a newbie but loving this website.

I bought my wife a YM (Platinum and ss) a few years ago and its her favourite watch.

Unfortunately, during our last move we misplaced the box - with papers, links etc. Does anyone know where I can get these replaced (If they can be replaced)? Thanks

Moderator - a small thing, but I just noticed that the word "Yacht" for this thread is spelt incorrect (as "Yatch").

    thanks
