I was once caught in the same situation. In the end, I selected Sub because the marking on the bezel is much simple.

I had the same dilemma years back when I wana get my first sports rolex. I opted for the GMT2C as I feel its suitable for all occasion and has an extra GMT feature. Now itching for a green sub.. haha

my 1st rollie is a sub but now I own gmt too.
so go with your feeling, both watches can be daily wear too..
just get 1, either will fail you.
