    Haha, i like your humor.

That what i don't like to see in ghost insert, ie evenness. It should come with patina & battle scars.

Do you have a picture of the souless pink/baby blue hues insert? Maybe i can try with my NOS inserts.

I personally like vintage watches in pristine conditions... Ghost bezel and battled scars are terms created to sell the watch for a higher prices by some dealers...cracked dial has become spider dial...

The insert on this Tudor 7021 is almost faded into light grey

May I know where can I get those beautiful leather straps for the vintage watches? Thanks!

Would like to know this as well.

Anyways on topic, this thread helps me remember my first foray into vintage rolexes. I was in HK Lan Kwai Fong and walking up this uphill alley when a tiny shop along the row selling vintage rolexes piqued my curiosity. The very first item that caught my eye was a ghost bezelled 5513. I asked the uncle how much, to which he replied with a grin....... 'SITY TOUSAND'. At that time I was actually quite shocked by the price but walked off nonchalantly, as if it was no big deal lol. Ah, good times and weather.

The easiest way to achieve a "ghost" look is to dip the bezel insert into Clorox. Done and tested. But you need to be very fast to achieve the right result.
Hi, may I know how long to dip the bezel insert into Chlorox for? Is it a matter of seconds or up to a few minutes? I presume the bezel insert has to be removed from the watch first right?

I like faded bezels on vintages.
Ghost ones are a bit overdone for me

Actually, i prefer in between of them.
The left one is too faded for me and the right one is clear and sharp.

Here's mine which is just right for me.
