haha. welcome to sg roc. im new to here too. to answer your question, what i know is that omega value is in fact higher than tags. omega are currently moving towards the luxury line. and recently they have decreased their standard discount from 15% to--- (haven check yet). haha. dun know hwo many % now. tags watches and the brand are more towards commercial as they heavily investing in marketing-advertisement, ambassdor (tiger, maria, brad) you can see a normal chronograph equipped with eta 7750 movement cost 3+k after discount. longines, hamilton, louis erard same movement as tag chronograph cost 2k something or even 1.9k after heavily discount.

tag watches are pretty standard using standard eta movement. even the carerra 360 movements parts are from eta too.

but for omega, you can see pretty well that their watches are not entirely ETA. they do modification such as the current black seamster comes with movement 1120 which they added 2 jewels and is cosc. last year after discount was about 2k plus. and indications are pretty clear that soon all their movements are equiping with co-axial movement. even the new in house co-axial movement in the hourvision devile series. lets not forget the so many limited edition watches especially the olympics series.

im not saying tag is bad or overvalued as value is measured differently by everyone due to satisfaction, their image of the brand etc. tag is a good solid watch with honorable history. they are improving and making new movement, or even in house movement (the belt drivin monaco) tho its still not commercialised yet. if they continues like this, it wont be long that their watches will have high value.

last year i went to the passions to sell away my aquaracer chronograph, tat lady told me that tag watches has very little value and she called her boss to confirm if she will take in my watch. eventually she took in my watch but at a very sad value.

                  cheers.

for ladies, most of the time they like the watch is because of looks not its function.

also most of the watches flip are men's models, hardly u come across ladies models.

so many active members here. how many of us actually buy and keep watches?
