          virgin post~ bought my first rolex here in japan..

          brought it to Rolex service centre in Tokyo yesterday to adjust the bracelet..
          the lady took my watch then after awhile told me it will take 30-40mins to do something on the bracelet and will charge 2100yen.. My japanese not so good.. not sure what she mean, so i left without doing it:s22:
          but service was good, she return my watch in a zip lock pouch

                congrats! i bought my DSSD in tokyo last week too. i'm sure you paid a good price like i did :-)

                    Our currency is now very strong against Yen so that's one advantageous factor. The other factor is you get back 5% tax rebate discount off the selling price on the spot. To give you an idea, the Jap Rolex AD list price for DSSD is around SG$12k+ vs our local AD $15k+. I bought my BNIB DSSD from a Tokyo grey market shop at more than 30% cheaper than SG AD list price. I don't think you can get much cheaper than that.
