If need be, perhaps we could eat in moderation.

Actually, I have been following this thing called intermittent fasting and it's absolutely amazing.
Basically, you skip your breakfast and your eating window is only from 1pm-8pm. From 8pm to 1pm next day, you just drink water or tea/coffee with no sugar/milk.

Its been a week and I've lost 3kgs. Its alot of hard work but beats the usual eat 5-6 times a day meals. That's all old school. Google intermittent fasting. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how many people have changed just doing that. It essentially serves to be a lifestyle change more than a diet itself.

No carbs for dinner. Will help quite a bit. Very torturing initially but you will feel the difference after a while. Exercise while on diet and drink lots lots of plain water. Will increase your metabolism.

Do the most sensible thing above, and remember to drink enough water.

80kg should be about 4L a day. plus a bit more if you work out and perspire.

2L by lunch, 1L before 5pm, and 1L before 9pm (whichever time you sleep -1hr)

Could give the CrossFit Diet a try.
                                Similar to Paleo Diet.

Eat Meat, Vege, Nuts and Seeds.
                                Some Fruits, Little Starch
                                No SUGAR!

Sugar has been shown to be the no.1 thing that makes people unhealthy and go obese.

I started out trying this diet by totally cutting out sugar from my daily coffee or tea, then desserts. But of cos, have some cheat meal to reward yourself sometimes!

                                Hope this helps!
