I came across this weekly newspaper supplement y'day in the Straits Times and I'd like to highlight some information which I feel may be useful for us. If you can, go grab one copy. It's free if you'd purchase the main papers. To note is one section titled "Heath&You"(pgs 4-55). They have (I personally feel) very good health tips which I did not know until y'day .
These are the noteworthy tips :
Cracking knuckles leads to arthritis?;
Drinking milk causes phlegm?;
Sweat your fever out?;
Sexually transmitted diseases from toilet seats?; and
Starve a fever, feed a cold?.
Other titles include :
"Eyes wide shut" (about sleeping problems);
"Back to basics" (back problems);
"A perfect smile" (children's dental health);
"Sex in the bedroom" (playing it right);
"Making babies"; and
"Getting pregnant".
There are many more information in there and I honestly think this week's edition gives very direct, straightforward details. Good enough for laymen like us to know.
