installment plans when said 0% upfront may mean that the discounted to end user is lesser compared to just credit card payment.

for example, if pay by credit card, discount is 20% but if pay by credit card installment, discount is 17-18% (usually 2-3% less)

my advice is to check first before commit to mode of payment.

installment will be better choice since 0%.
