Usually use my card as feel uneasy to have for example five big 1,000 bills on my money clip

I personally dun see any problem with instalment plan , especially when you can grow your cash on hand....diff story for those with poor financial management with piles of instalment to pay

I think Standard Chartered has a bonus saver debit / credit card that is worth looking into.

It gives you 1.88% for 25K which you deposit. If im ot wrong also get a 80 dollar sign up bonus.

Look for Samuel at Centrepoint. Had provided me good service.

The promotion for HSBC works out this way
List Price x 0.9 (that's the discount by AD)
Discounted Price x 0.9 (that's the overall price you pay)

Because the 0.1% is rebate into the card you have to still pay the discounted price first, which is the list price less 10%.

Limit to first 200 customers which you need them to confirm with HSBC.
Still have as far as I know.

Thanks for this info. Don't have HSBC credit card yet but I'm applying today. Hopefully I'll get it in time..
