      Yeah... Cannot deny that...

A few years back, I was outside a room with beautiful piano music playing. I went into the room and it was a hifi system playing. It was so real. I ran only after a few minutes. My friend ask me why I ran out so fast when the music is so nice. and I remember saying... rather not listen cos its so good that I would crave for it...

Then again... life is easy when we have no money. No money, no choice. Easy.

Wow... nowadays, I dont buy audio components, I DIY. Of course some things cannot DIY, such as loudspeaker amps (not worth it).

But my next project is a tube amp... I want to try out some loudspeaker monoblocks using tubes ... and DIY my next set of speakers.

I have Canon Kiss (350D) for quite some time. Still like it very much due to its compact size. No budget for lenses, maybe will add one macro lens if money available

How is canon compare to Tamron for macro? I heard Tamron is good, but maybe focus speed is not as fast as Canon and no USM

                            • both Tamron and Sigma Macro are good (much cheaper than the Canon), esp if you are using it to take still object like watches...
