Another way of looking at it - instead of buying an expensive continental car, one could buy a Japanese car + a PP

Cars and watches are really different leagues of wants. For a car like Panamera or granturismo we talking about losing a Nautilus every year.
Sometimes to avoid burning serious money, get a nice Patek to pamper oneself for a quick fix is not a bad idea.
