expensive to replace if something happens to it.

this is because enamel dial takes a lot time and effort.

dont get me wrong that enamel dial no good. they are so good, that i would like to have a enamel dial watch. but i wont dare to wear it out for normal work.

Which enamel dial version of JD are you considering? I have been in love with the Grande Date Ivory Enamel so the JD would be my choice. JD's enamel's dials are excellent , maybe second only to VC's enamel dials.

The cotes de geneva with silver opaline subdial is the one that caught my eyes

Since the prices differs quite a lot, I'll just vote based on looks, and the winner would clearly be Moser!! Very elegant, clean and classic dress watch.
