Hi,
For me the best is still the original Pontian wanton mee in Pontian, Johor Malaysia.
It used to cost RM2.50 a plate with around 10 wantons and 5 fishballs. (RM4.50 now).
They also serve good otahs as well as prawn / Tapioca crackers (RM10 for 20 packets).
I used to drive in just for the wanton mee when i have craving in my younger
days (1.5hrs drive). However, i recently found 2 stalls that serve pretty good
wanton mee as well - 1 at bedok north blk 85 market and the other at bedok north
Blk 216 mkt.
Best regards,

A bit OT here, but sigh I just heard that Eng's Wonton Noodle stall's owner had passed away
"Oh enjoying the thrill of the chase is fine. Craving the distraction of the game, I sympathize entirely. But sentiment, sentiment is a chemical defect found in the losing side."

This stall at LHC is over rated & expensive. Try this hidden gem, Wang Lai at Blk 802, Tampines st81 (opp. Soka), the chilli is power & noodle still QQ even after ta bao home(this is quality test for noodle), total 8 wantons if you don't want char siew.

This is another over rated & expensive stall, chilli fail & some more can sell yong tau fu!!! as side dishes. I was there because heard it was hand made noodle and this also not QQ.Originally posted by Ecstatic View PostNow the feifei wonton mee got 24 hr brand next door.
