    What's your favourite / go-to cze char stall(s) in Singapore? And what's your favourite dishes from the stall(s)?

    Dun have favourite stores leh... but i like to these dishes:

    1) Tie Ban Tofu
    2) Tie Ban Lu Rou
    3) Fu Yong Egg
    4) Ma Lai Fong Guang (Vege)

    If the place is good, usually will order some prawns or fish..

      Ching Ching at Purvis St:
      1) Hainanese Pork Chop
      2) Egg Fu-yong
      3) Mixed vege.
      4) Some vege thing with cuttlefish strips and tan-hoon...
      5) Cheekern rice is also not bad tooo

      YetCon (just opposite Ching Ching):
      1) Hong Shao Dou-Fu

            I may be outdated but used to patronise one at East Coast Rd, near Lau's Arcadia (opp a church). Name's "Sin Hoi Sai" (xin hai san). They've another outlet at Tiong Bahru, I think. Their specialty is "salad you-zha-guai" (sotong meat inside the fried dough stick). Their other dishes also not bad, except that its a little on the high side in comparison with other such stalls.

              how come all gone.

              pepper/chilli crab, shrimp paste chicken.... @ ban leong , casurina road (off thomson road)
              fish head curry, fried chicken, stir fried kailan @ sembawang road (off old sembawang shopping)
              thai style dish @ chong pang (opp famous 7-11, the one with alot of toto winners)

                  yup.. tiong bahru.. opposite the LINK HOTEL...
                  you can try ZI YUEN at LENGKOK BAHRU... block 51 if i'm not wrong..

                  but the prices of SIN HOI SAN and ZI YUEN is slightly higher than normal but the food is definitely safe to savour... meaning eat liao won't beh song loh.. hahha...

                  ah orh.. is one that i'm gonna try soon.. live in that area for so damn long.. but no idea bout it..

                        aiya. dun like that say. the last time i been there was like 5 years ago. i stay east. so seldom travel there. also not sure if the main chef change or not. u know lah, different people with same ingredients cook differently also.

                              tried before. ok lor. unless u tell us, u offering special price to sg-roc members. then can consider organise next gathering there with east kakis.

                              basically, i tried ubin seafood. expensive.
                              mellben which is the corner of marshall road and joo chiat road. reasonable price. nothing to shout about.
                              ghim moh also so-so
                              joo hiang is too much MSG.
