well, i guess it is hard to get a panerai than a IWC, that's y the value is better for Pam. i walked into PAm at ION and they dont' have stock for most model but you can get a IWC easily.

IWC is for those who love the design for each different line and in the near future, they will reduce the POS and price will hold.

I have owned and sold close to 5 IWC s, still own the big pilot 5002 and Portugese perpetual calender. I feel that except their Aquatimer range all the watches hold very good value. However i do agree with most of the bros in the forum that you buy a watch if you like it. from pure investment perspective only high end PP, AP, IWCs and PAM.

                IWC where got re-sale value...
if you are too considerate about re-sale value, you may end up buying nothing

if pple like watch trade ins, iwc cant fetch in much value. so if u like e iwc, dont sell it n there wont b any complains on e plunge in value

what about discontinued models? Does the value increase? I am referring to those with in house IWC movement.

The best is buy a preowned iwc of your liking.....value may depreciate but at least so much lesser than buying a brand new.

very few models increase in value. those that do are usually limited editions.
