Oops sorry uncle, my post may have offended you, apologies from me . I think its ok to like and enjoy certain brands but some people are are making criticisms beyond their knowledge and understanding, in this case, the uncle in the boutique. He probably dun understand the history of Pams before he made those comments. Why I understand these people is bcos my mum is one of them, always tell me...want to buy watch buy Rolec, buy so many useless watch for what!!!

aren't you people glad these old uncles don't 'believe" in Pams? If they are into Pams, there will be a greater demand and the price will shoot up again. They will be fighting with you young guns for those 500/1500/2000/4000 limited production of Pams.

btw I am still stuck in the mud uncle, who enjoys Rolex and Omega, and not Pam yet.

True also, now already got quite a demand, every THG, Sincere I go to, all say no stock, left those relli exp or not so nice PAMs at the display cabinet nia....

Pams are still to me a relli nice watch and I simply love it haha

And another group of people that I can't stand, wearing a Rolex without actually knowing what they are wearing. In my work, I get to come face to face with customers and there was once, a man in early 50s came to my shop, I spotted him wearing a GMTIIC and I told him, thats a nice GMT2 you are wearing. He looked at me blur blur and ask me to repeat. Immediately, I knew this guy only knew he wear ROLAC but dunno the model. I am so sad that these watch landed in the hands of people who could afford them but cannot appreciate them. Flower stuck cow dung..

haha ya I agree, some ppl have certain beliefs in their brand of watches and go criticize others, which I feel is not so good la. If U don like just keep quiet lor instead of saying lousy la, not worth la, etc. But I don let such comments affect me though. My pattern sibeh funny also, for eg. I choosing watches now, for eg. Brand A, B and C. Then I like brand B, so my frens say eh buy Brand A, got good resale value, then some will say buy Brand C la, the design more popular and easier to resell next time. But in my heart I like brand B, so I will go ahead to buy brand B, then my frens will say wah lao eh, U ask for our comments we say so much in the end U buy something none of us recommended hahahaha.

But then they will turn serious and say, most impt U must buy something U relli like cos its my hard earned money. As long as I happy can liao and I fully agree!

But then they always say I wont be happy for long cos I always have an itchy backside, always itching for something else

My rich uncle wears a YM. He also don't know about watches except his friend ask him to buy so he just buy one that the store got stock!

My 2 company directors both wear Patek Annual/Perpectual Calendars. They wear it like daily and even leave it on the table when they go toilet. I just admire but keep quiet. Think they don't know or don't care much about the watch and its DNA/history. They bought it cos someone (could be friends/salesman at AD) say Patek is the best and most expensive. Just buy.

wahahahaha eh btw last time I used to wear a Marina Millitare, those homages, mine is PVD and to prevent ppl thinking I PAM poser so I go change to those Nato Straps, whenever ppl ask wah PAM sia, I always say no la, mine is a Homage nia, U see my strap so bright colour, they will orh, still nice lei!

Then got one time I saw a customer wear Marina Millitare also, but his is brushed SS with the Regatta Dial, so I saw and commented wah ur this one swee and before I could finish saying how much U bought ur Marina Millitare for, he said yeah "PANERAI" lei siao siao, I was like Not marina millitare meh? I wasnt wearing the Marina Millitare that day else I would have say eh urs normal one lei, my "PANERAI" PVD one lei...and suan the fella back

some ppl drive very good cars but they don knw wats inside the bonnet... same for some of those with nice watches! i think is ok, happiness is all that matters!
