Pam 111 and 112 are nice but someome said they are just base model

As long the design appeals to me, I don't care whether it is base model. In fact, for some higher-end model like those old-fashioned "Cali" dials, I find them very fugly (no offense). But taste is very subjective.

Having said that, 111 has an evergreen classic look that will not go wrong.

For PAMS, the more complicated and cluttered the dial, the more rubbishy.
The more limited the edition, the more suspect its value.
The weirder the case material, the more suspect is the brand's focus.
Clean dials work best whether limited or not.

Still like the brand though, can't explain why. My $0.02

111 in fact is a fantastic mod,
Specially for first time Pam buyer.

Just when some people and even myself are pretty fond of the simple design of 111 and 112, I remembered someone once gave me such a degoratory remark that such base models of Pam are nothing and worthless
