    • i'm not sure if anyone has posted this before... i went to RSC today to buy spring bars for my watch (i brought only the head without bars or bracelet) and was told that they no longer sell it to the public/normal customers.

the receipt has also changed into an A4 sheet of paper - the bottom has a detachable card that can be laminated after printing upon collection.

      • ooops. i mean: the bottom has a detachable card that can be "can be peeled off after printing for collection..."

the spring bars are also quite expensive in singapore (i think they've been marked up too), but still less than $15.

i paid less than $5 for them at overseas RSCs/ADs but they are usually free...

        • Let me understand you clearly: You managed to buy the spring bars from RSC today because you are not public/normal customer? Cos you said RSC no longer sell them to public/normal customer. Just trying to understand your post, if you don't mind. Thanks.

                • Can someone please tell me what is no pin hole? Thanks

                  • "Pin hole" refers to the small holes you will find on the sides of the watch case, where the strap/bracelet is connected to. Some watches have it (older models), some (newer ones) don't.

                      No Pin Hole

                      I believe this helps

This is bad, I was intending to send in my A series Explorer 2 for servicing (I believe it has not been serviced before but running well +5 mins a month). Would like to know what is the difference between normal servicing and overhaul...

Not sure what you mean by normal servicing.

Complete overhaul by RSC is $920,exclude parts change.

If I can recall the counter lady told me,$920 include complete overhaul and polishing of bracelet and case.

And they will replace a new crown & tube.(not sure whether they replace the stem)

                                Hope this help.
