      • Rolex servicing costs an arm and leg. But they give us a nice leather pouch though..

              • Hi all,

I have an old datejust and the winding mechanism seems to have upped the lorry.

I have never had in serviced before, do I need the papers or documentations or can I just bring it in?

What is the down time as I do not stay in Singapore and will only be passing thru for 2 weeks max.

                10Q and Kum Xia all

RSC staff says 6-8 weeks depending on the extent of the overhual/repair.

No kidding, is the downtime so long because

                    - the watch is that complicated?
                    - many watches are being handled?
                    - the send it back to Switzerland?
                    - not enough technicians?

I kid you not, this is what they told me when I bring in my watch.

The servicing is done in SG. Maybe waiting for parts due to no stock on hand?

                      • Newbie here.

Called up for servicing at RSC. Submariner no date 2 months.

                        Called up JW. 5 months.

                        Lead time is atrocious.

                            • Yes, you can bring your Tudor watch to the ROLEX Service Centre. They do sell bracelets for Tudor watches. I am not sure the cost of polishing, you can call to ask tomorrow.
