ya the crown look new to me. after outside technician change crown, tube and a plate, i don't even know what plate, and the problem still unable to solve, i brought it back to rsc, where the malay lady told me she has brought it up to the manager's attention. up till now, so far so good, i can pull the crown out with no problem, previously, once i unscrewed the crown turned 30-40 rounds to up the power reserve, and wanted to pull to last position to set the time, cannot even pulled out, i need to push the crown back turned few more rounds if lucky i can pull out the crown to last position. Stayed at rsc at that time at least 3 weeks. This problem rsc tried at least 3-4 times, each time said check winding system and i go back 6 months later. i will bring back for overhaul, but i will request no auntie to attend to me.

if the outside technician changed your crown and tube with a set of crown and tube obtained from another preown watch, isnt it used parts changed with used parts? thought used parts should be changed with new parts

already saw a few feedback here about rolex center recommending change of parts after 3-5years usage, and questions about whether such recommendation was necessary
while crown and tube may be worn out due to frequent winding, i dont understand why hands need to be changed

Have read horror stories in sgroc about scratches on watches return by rolex center
Best part is, some of these they denied responsibility

Make sure you inspect watch when they return to you , shouldnt have scratch
my ExpII date change is on the dot one, very quick.
even my 7yo SD date change is instant.
so i think this GMTIIc very inacceptable, hope RSC can sort it out well...

If this is true, rolex center has extremely bad business practise
Certainly a watch doesnt deteriorate by two fold in 3-6mth
Why then the two fold jump in service fee quoted within such a short timeframe
Can rolex center please clarify
