If you are considering the 15400, in this scenario, in my personal opinion, I would go for the Sub.

Ultimately follow your heart instead of listening to others. I sold my Rolex and have no issue with it. Prefer other brands. Only Rolex I have now is SG-ROC account

Ap for me if u are going for the design. However do factor in the servicing costs.

But if u are going to keep it for many years to come, definitely the sub

I would say AP for me. I know my nick is bias. But some rolex models are really nice. If one has a choice.. why not both?

It comes down to which suit on your wrist, somethings might be nice. However not everyone can look good on certain timepiece. To add on, if you're going to wear it daily given the fact that this will be the only watch you will wear.. consider your dress sense. Just my 2 cents

I'm also contemplating to sell my DSSD which I bought for only 5 months to get an AP Panda.

I do like the DSSD but AP has always been an ultimate must get!

Go for both, I am wearing Sub 114060 now, and aiming for AP RO 15400

I have the 15300, the finish of the AP is in a different league compared to the Rolex. Have never been a fan of two-tone watches. I would advise you to actually consider the stainless steel Sub vs the two-tone.
