Each has its own appeal. The Sub is more sporty while the AP 15400 is a little bit more "dressy".

However, if it's Rolex Daytona WG 116509 vs AP ROO Panda, I will find it really to choose!

Cos some if not all AP owners do own a rolex as well...

Bare in mind, is cos of "IN THIS CASE" as per thread subject, that I/other bros choose AP.

If in the "CASE" of a AP 15400 n a Rolex SS Daytona 116520, I might vote for Rolex...

Somehow the Sub C TT LN seems to have more wrist presence, and recognition. Otherwise go for the PP Calatrava.

I think your heart is set on the 15400. As the saying goes, "go with what you like, not what everyone else likes."

Anyway there is no right answer. I too, hope to have a 15400 in due course.

Both are iconic watches and they come a long way.

Cant go wrong with either one.

Why dont get both if budget permits?

My vote goes to the 15400 But given the case design, which typically wears bigger than it's prescribed size (esp when worn with a bracelet), I'll fit it with a leather strap and deployant buckle.
