AP 15400 looks better and less common in the wild. Notice i did not say AP everything looks better. Some of the ROOs, i just do not understand. Also AP is generally perceived as a different class. However, It is good to punch in the route to the AP SC in your GPS. TT has the a pek image, if that does not bother you, it is quite nice. many reps around so sometimes don't know who's who. Just sharing my personal views and experience.

Both are nice watches, AP 15400 SS costing a bit more. But Sub C TT (Black or Blue) probably is recognized by more people, and holds its resale value better (that is, if the thought of flipping either watch later on). Service costs, down the years, would be cheaper for Sub C TT too. As you rightly said, this is a Rolex forum, so I am biased towards Rolex.

Good luck and take your time to decide!

    Thanks,
Between all steel daily beater AP and two tone Rolex.
    I would take the AP.
    More elegant overall.

But if you say Daytona SS or Sub full gold, i say take the Rolex
