But for sports series I seriously doubt so.

its like that one. when i flip my watches to get gmtiic is oso very sad to see people agree at my selling price haha

it is more likely that an uncle wear a gold rolex as it involved quite a substantial amount of money.. thus the tag of uncle watch.
in real life, the young ones also want to buy but cannot afford so the young one aka 'green eye' started to label it as uncle watch...
