i wld go for meteorite..because they're really awesome...my wife owns a pink MOP on stainless steel bracelet and also a half gold white dial rollie....

after a while, i think the pink MOP looks normal but the meteorite is really something that's very nice and unique...given a choice, i wld go for that...

          cheers

I dont know why I am in 2 minds abt getting a meteorite as opposed to MOP... Somehow I am afraid I'd regret it seeing how MOP is more popular. This is my 1st rollie so I am abit kia si! LOL!

Did abit more shopping today and I kinda like black MOP as well but HG and Dickson told me it doesnt exist in 31mm BUT I saw it in WP! I didnt like that pc cos the MOP wasnt very shimmery. In fact it was dull.
I think for MOP,look ard carefully as every piece is unique and the pattern is never the same. Find something that smiles at you

For me,I think MOP is nice but once you get it..you will want the the other 1 also. Like that James's wife hehehehe In turn,u buy the meteorite dial u might prefer the MOP after that. But IMO 1 thing for sure, for the MOP dial you can't go wrong with that.

Up to you la...just go there tell sales person to show u both then decide..if cannot decide....flip a coin hehehe

meteorite dial looks really cool, and i regret not scouting around for that dial now ... i wonder if they come in seperate dials. maybe I can just do a swap. since my DJ is paperless, doesnt really matter right?

if that is the case, then not too bad. because i was told that i cannot take the dial to my old watch when i drop in to service at RSC before.

Based on the difference in list prices between the two.... i guess the meteorite dial would cost $3k+ (just a guess)

Hmm...that would depend if got people buy first but if it's a original dial should be at least worth ard 1k. I m not sure also
