But eventually she went with the traditional look of a Datejust as she wanted one with date feature .

Unfortunately, my wife's wrist is too thin and the bracelet have to cut (modify) it and with this we give up this idea. End up she only can get a lady OP.

However, EXP I forever is my dream watch which I wish to own and I believed I will own it one of the day.

      Cheers,
See wat I mean?! Another choice over the Exp I..

What I heard then was that a Japanese film star was spotted wearing one in a movie. That started a stampede for the watch. Then that craze died when all the lemmings fell over the cliff .

To me, the Exp 1 is just an AirKing but with a different name. There are some AirKing (think they are AirKing) dials with the same 3, 6, 9 indexes as the Exp 1.

lets juz say she got a substantial subsidy for that purchase.. . but it was $ well spent on the Datejust rather than say.. on a diamond ring. Maybe its just us guys who r more practical , but then again, spending few Ks on a watch doesn't exactly qualify us as being rational, isn't it? no wonder they all say its poisonous and a serious addiction..

Well if the 'substantial subsidy' came from you, then I think she's worth the 'investment' huh?

Exp I is a classic, a watch with history. A very simple and 'clean' looking watch. It appears small in today's world, but 36mm is a wearable size for any gender.
