Or have a spare set of original parts if you do intend to go down the modding route.

The last time i saw the price of a year 2004 leopard skin motif dial Gold Daytona(with 36 Baguette Sapphires on the bezel and 8 white diamonds on the dial) retail by AD at$78k. So what do you think? Hahahaha

The piece is question is in good condition and is from a local AD.
the local vs overseas AD thing might be a matter of price perception:
ie, if i were a tourist and bought a watch overseas, it might (might! not definite) be cheaper than buying it locally.
therefore, if i sold it in singapore, potential buyers may (may! not definite) feel it is not deserving of the same re-sale price when compared with a watch purchased from a singapore AD because of singapore's GST, etc.
as such, if two exact watches (one local AD, one overseas AD) in the same exact condition were priced the same, the singapore spirit in singaporeans may compel them to buy a local unit so as to feel better when it comes time to sell it down the road...
but this perception might be wrong because rolex watches are supposed to be priced similarly all over the world. the only way to get around it is with exchange rates and duty free shopping... which doesn't (usually) amount to a big discount when compared to singapore's prices.
to me - it doesn't matter which AD the watch comes from. as long as it's the real deal and i'm happy with the price (and its condition), i'll buy it.
watches are for fun, not as investments, so i'm okay selling it for less than what i paid for it.
in case trolls are about: THIS IS MY OPINION and i should be entitled to it.

No difference. It is a personal preference.
Chapter ring refers to the engraving of "ROLEXROLEXROLEX" in the inner case of the dial.

Lastly, what is this chapter ring?
Thanks again for all your expert help, advice and guidance.

I am new to this forum and would really appreciate your advice.
I was offered a white SS V-serie white daytona preowned for 12.5k SGD. This comes with all the paperwork.
Is this a reasonable deal? What would I be expected to pay for one brand new?
Also what is the difference between the V,G and alphanumeric series?
Thanks to all who help in advance.
