  • Deepsea already at SGD 14.9k

Saw one dealer asking that. I think not long before price is SGD 13.5k to 14k,
especially if stocks start coming in. Of course when Christmas comes, price might rise again if the economy does not worsen too quickly.

Wow, my friend colected from local AD for $12,600 last month. Waited for 3 months though. What a difference!

12.6 is a very good price! Good for your friend. I suspect he is probably a regular who bought many things from the AD?

The 1st DS appeared in our forum asking for S$23k

The 2nd DS appeared asking for S$17K

In Japan ADs are selling S$13k, so for Singapore, AD should be selling around that price.

            SS Daytona Black Dial,
SS GMT II coke, SS GMT IIC, TT GMT IIC,

Japan ADs are selling 997,500 Yen no discount...so it's about S$14,600. That's why I haven't picked up my piece yet...hopefully the Yen will soften a bit soon.

He didn't buy many things, but he brought many many private banking customers to buy at the AD and they view the watches in private. But I guess with the economy now, I don't think they will be visiting the AD soon.

Looks like he is an important intermediary then, which is as important as a good customer. Good for him!

I dont think the current DSSD can sell at 14-15k as most grey dealers are selling only at 11k.

Was amusing to see the difference between "hot off the press" prices in 2008 (sgd 14k) and "cooled off" prices at the local ADs now (sgd 12k+).

Here's the present trend in the Used/Grey market:
                              * BNIB grey sets: Seller starts at sgd 12k, buyers bite at 11k+
                              * Mint/LNIB sets: Seller starts at sgd 11k, buyers bite at 10k+
